Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 2026

1. General

By accessing and using this website (monacotradeforum.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use this site.

Monaco Trade Forum is operated by an entity registered in Romania (the "Event Organiser"). References to "Monaco Trade Forum", "we", "us", or "our" throughout these Terms refer to the Event Organiser.

Monaco Trade Forum may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our platform, our services, or applicable law. The version published on this website at any given time is the current applicable version. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

2. Use of This Website

This website is provided for informational purposes only. Original content — including our text, editorial articles, research publications, the Monaco Trade Forum name and logo, and the layout and design of this site — is owned by or used by Monaco Trade Forum and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission. Certain data, feeds, maps, software and trademarks displayed on this site belong to third parties and are separately addressed in Section 5 below.

You agree not to use this site for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the site or interfere with any other party's use of it.

3. Intellectual Property

Monaco Trade Forum's original content published on this website, including the Monaco Trade Forum name, logo, editorial materials and research publications, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorised use is prohibited. This does not extend to third-party data, software, maps or trademarks displayed on the site, which remain the property of their respective owners as described in Section 5.

4. Event Information

Details regarding the Monaco Trade Forum event — including dates, venue, speakers, and programme — are still being finalised and are subject to change. Monaco Trade Forum makes no warranties as to the completeness or accuracy of event information published on this site at any given time. The location of the physical Forum has not yet been confirmed; see our Venue page for the current status.

5. Platform Content and Third-Party Data

Beyond information about the Forum itself, this website also operates as an informational platform offering market data, analysis, research and practical tools relating to global commodities, trade and trade finance. Some of this content — including live or reference market prices, currency exchange rates, weather data, port and maritime data, and maps — is sourced from third-party providers, including, without limitation, TradingView, the European Central Bank / Frankfurter exchange rate service, WeatherAPI, OpenStreetMap contributors, Esri, the World Port Index (U.S. National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency) and UN/LOCODE (UNECE), and is provided for general informational purposes only.

Cargo Flow data and estimates: Where live vessel data is available, vessel position, destination and estimated time of arrival (ETA) are based on AIS data. Cargo identification may be reported or classified as likely, based on available public information, vessel history and Monaco Trade Forum's own analytical methods; this does not constitute an official cargo manifest. Cargo quantities are estimates produced by Monaco Trade Forum through its own calculation methodology and may be presented as ranges. Until live data is connected, any Cargo Flow information displayed on the website is illustrative in nature and is marked accordingly.

Monaco Trade Forum does not independently verify third-party data feeds and makes no warranty as to their accuracy, completeness or timeliness. Trademarks, logos and data feeds belonging to third-party providers remain the property of their respective owners and are used under applicable licences, permitted embedding arrangements, or applicable open-data terms.

See Section 9 (Market Information; No Investment Advice) for the specific terms governing market and analysis content, and our Cookie Policy for further detail on third-party technologies and embeds used on this site.

6. Third-Party Links

This site may contain links to third-party websites. Monaco Trade Forum is not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, or practices of any linked site and does not endorse any third-party content.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Monaco Trade Forum shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of this website or reliance on any information contained herein.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability, statutory right, or consumer protection that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

8. Privacy

Monaco Trade Forum is the controller responsible for personal data processed through this website. We collect and use personal data only for the purposes and on the legal bases set out in our Privacy Policy, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Romanian data protection law.

Our use of cookies and similar technologies is described in our Cookie Policy, including how you can accept or decline non-essential cookies. Please read both documents for full detail on what data is collected, why it is collected, and what rights you have in relation to it.

9. Market Information; No Investment Advice

Market data, price references, analysis, research and commentary published on this website — including in the Markets, Analysis and Research sections and in any market tools — are provided for general informational purposes only.

They do not constitute, and should not be relied upon as, investment advice, a personal recommendation, or an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any financial instrument or commodity. Monaco Trade Forum is not an investment adviser or broker and does not provide personalised financial recommendations.

Prices shown may be reference or delayed prices rather than live tradable quotes; see the relevant page for the specific data source. You should seek independent professional advice before making any investment or trading decision.

10. Tickets and Sponsorship

Where you purchase a delegate ticket, or confirm a sponsorship or exhibition position, additional terms apply. Please see our Ticket Terms and Sponsor & Exhibitor Terms respectively.

In the event of a conflict between those documents and these Terms, the more specific document governs the relevant relationship.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania, including the Romanian Civil Code and, where applicable, European Union law, including Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 on the law applicable to contractual obligations (Rome I).

This governing law applies to the contractual relationship with the Event Organiser. Where the physical Forum is ultimately staged in a jurisdiction other than Romania, this does not exclude any overriding mandatory legal provisions applicable in that jurisdiction to the physical staging of the event.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the competent courts of Romania, without prejudice to any mandatory legal protections or any right to bring proceedings before the courts of your place of residence that may be available to you as a consumer under applicable law.
