Ticket Terms

Last updated: July 2026

1. Scope

These Ticket Terms govern the purchase and use of delegate tickets for Monaco Trade Forum, in addition to our general Terms & Conditions. They apply between the Event Organiser and the individual or organisation purchasing or holding a ticket ("Delegate"). Tickets are not currently on sale; these Terms will apply once ticket sales open and are published in advance of that date.

2. Tickets and Pricing

Ticket categories, prices, and inclusions are as published on the Tickets page at the time of booking. The Event Organiser reserves the right to adjust pricing and availability for tickets not yet purchased at any time.

3. Payment

Full payment is due at the time of booking, using the payment method indicated at checkout, unless otherwise agreed in writing with the Event Organiser. A ticket is only confirmed once payment has been received in full.

4. Right of Withdrawal

Because Monaco Trade Forum takes place on a specific date or within a specific period, tickets fall within the exception to the standard 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts, under Article 16(l) of Government Emergency Ordinance No. 34/2014 on consumer rights (transposing Directive 2011/83/EU). Accordingly, no statutory withdrawal right applies once a ticket has been purchased.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

Except as expressly stated in these Terms or required by applicable mandatory law, tickets are non-refundable and non-cancellable once payment has been completed. Any refund offered by the Event Organiser outside of these Terms is at its sole discretion and does not create a precedent for future events.

6. Transfer of Participation

A confirmed ticket may be transferred to another individual within the same organisation, or to a substitute nominated by the original holder, by written notice to the Event Organiser at desk@monacotradeforum.com prior to the event, subject to the Event Organiser's approval. Tickets may not be resold for profit or transferred to a third party outside the original holder's organisation without the Event Organiser's prior written consent.

7. Change of Date or Venue

The Event Organiser reserves the right to change the date or venue of Monaco Trade Forum where reasonably necessary. Where such a change occurs, a Delegate's ticket remains valid for the rescheduled date or venue. If the Event Organiser cancels the event entirely, rather than rescheduling it, Section 5 (Cancellation and Refunds) and Section 9 (Force Majeure), as applicable, govern the consequences.

8. Programme and Speaker Changes

The programme, speakers, and format of Monaco Trade Forum, as published on this website from time to time, are indicative and may change. Changes to the programme or speaker line-up do not, by themselves, entitle a Delegate to a refund or other compensation.

9. Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by force majeure, as defined under Article 1351 of the Romanian Civil Code (an external, unforeseeable, and absolutely unavoidable event). Where a force majeure event affects Monaco Trade Forum, the Event Organiser will determine, acting reasonably, whether the event is postponed, rescheduled, held in an adapted format, or cancelled, and will communicate the consequences, including with respect to any refund, to Delegates.

10. Conduct

Monaco Trade Forum is a professional, business-to-business event. Delegates are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully towards other attendees, speakers, sponsors, and staff. The Event Organiser may refuse admission to, or remove from the event, any individual whose conduct it reasonably considers disruptive, unlawful, or contrary to the professional character of the event, without obligation to refund the associated ticket.

Unauthorised recording, broadcasting, or commercial use of event content, sessions, or materials is not permitted without the Event Organiser's prior written consent.

11. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Event Organiser's liability to a Delegate in connection with a ticket is limited to the price paid for that ticket. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Romanian mandatory law, including Article 1355 of the Romanian Civil Code.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Ticket Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania, including the Romanian Civil Code and, where applicable, Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 on the law applicable to contractual obligations (Rome I), and Government Emergency Ordinance No. 34/2014 on consumer rights. This does not exclude any overriding mandatory legal provisions applicable in the Principality of Monaco to the physical staging of the event within that jurisdiction. Any dispute shall be subject to the competent courts of Romania, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that entitle a Delegate to bring proceedings in their own country of residence.
