Monaco Trade Forum is a platform at the intersection of markets, trade, analysis and research — connecting the data, insight and people behind global commodities and trade finance.
Monaco Trade Forum follows global commodities and trade finance across four connected directions — bringing together live market data, in-depth analysis, independent research and a growing professional network around international trade.
Beyond the Forum itself, Monaco Trade Forum is developing into a working platform — live data, independent research and a growing set of free tools built directly on official sources, for following and working with global trade day to day.
What first brought us to Monaco was a personal move. But time in the Principality opened a different vantage point on it. Beyond its international reputation, Monaco compresses an extraordinary concentration of people and businesses connected to international capital, investment, banking, entrepreneurship and global commerce into a few square kilometres.
Monaco is not, in itself, one of the world's major commodity trading centres. The physical movement of wheat, energy, metals and other commodities happens elsewhere — across ports, markets, production regions and global supply chains. Yet many of the people who finance, invest in, manage or facilitate that trade are connected to financial centres and international communities like Monaco.
That distinction shaped Monaco Trade Forum from the outset. The idea was never simply to hold another conference in a prestigious location — it was to create a place where the different worlds around global trade could meet: commodities and capital, physical trade and finance, logistics and investment, established trading houses and new sources of capital.
Over time, that idea has grown beyond the event itself. Monaco Trade Forum is developing into a platform for following markets, understanding developments in global trade, accessing research and analysis, and connecting with the people and businesses shaping international commerce. The Forum remains a central part of that ecosystem — but it is no longer confined to one city, or one moment on the calendar.
Monaco defines much of what Monaco Trade Forum stands for: international connectivity, private capital, entrepreneurship, discretion, and access to global networks.
Global trade belongs to no single place. Its markets, supply chains, ports, financial centres and decision-makers span continents — and Monaco Trade Forum follows them there, toward where trade actually happens and toward the people who finance, facilitate and shape it.
Monaco is where the idea began.
Global trade is where the story continues.
